They were closing in 30 min but reassured me that they could still make me some food. The fish and chips was some of the best I've had in a long time. The salad dressing (balsamic) was creamy and excellent. Brooke, the server was great and didn't mind how much lemon I asked for. Highly recommend! Check it out, get their fish and chips (I subbed salad )

Who would have thought a restaurant literally overlooking the runways of the San Luis Obispo Airport would not only offer eye-catching views of planes landing snd taking off. It also offers delicious food you might even. Say the food is "First class" with a "Coach class " price. Each time we come down to "Slo" to visit my sister in law we make it a point to have a meal at the restaurant four visits so far no dispapointmet. Customer service is first class, the service is first class

Flight delayed? No worries, come grab a bite next to the Airport! Delicious food and great service. Went around 11 AM and it wasn't too busy. It was a hot day so I loved that the inside of the restaurant was nice and breezy.

Our favorite spot for a family friendly Saturday or Sunday brunch in SLO! One of SLO's long standing restaurant gems that boasts a very unique setting right next to the SLO Airport runway. Highly recommend either of their covered patios for best runway views, although there isn't a bad spot in this entire establishment. We absolutely love their famous streusel topped coffee cake as a starter to go with our coffee's. I tend to order the eggs benedict which is always stellar, whereas my wife will get the fried fish wrap closer to lunch time and raves about it. They have a small bar that serves up bottomless mimosas on weekends as well. This place is flooded with more regulars than just about any SLO establishment we've been to which tells you everything you need to know. Their service is some of the nicest and friendliest we've received in the county and explains all the long-time regulars. Extra kudos for the TV monitors that display the upcoming departure and arrival flights into/out of SBP airport. It was fun to follow the board when celebrating our niece's birthday brunch here a few months ago. Can't wait to continue to go here for years to come and try the BBQ brisket for dinner, have heard great things!

I've been coming here since I was a kid, and as an aviation fan, this place has a special place in my heart. Even though I no longer live in SLO, I made sure to eat here twice on my last visit (because the food was so good). Previously, the location alone was enough to draw me in, even though the food was a bit bland. However, since the new ownership took over, the food has greatly improved. Plus, the increased activity at SBP makes for excellent plane spotting while you dine. Support this gem so it never goes away!

I've been here several times and I love it. I can't remember what I got last time. I want to say the snapper and the salad and it was delicious.

What a great spot! We were a party of 12 and they seated us right away in their outside section with a directly view of the landing strip. Be prepared, the planes can get quite loud, but for us we loved the unique experience. Service was very attentive and positive, and food was quite good as well (a standard brunch). I quite enjoyed the French toast combo and their freshly squeezed orange juice, and our group loved the variety of the mimosas offered.

This restaurant has become a favorite for so many reasons! The heated patio is a comfortable spot to watch all the excitement on the runway. Even though the airplanes can be loud, it is fascinating to see them in action! The menu is also a strong draw. Lots of selection, so everyone is happy, and great portions when the food arrives. They also have a decent choice of deserts, which makes this a natural spot for celebration meals. We came recently with an old friend and sat on the small patio. Our friend chose the French Dip sandwich, and my buddy got the Wright burger, with sweet potato fries, a reliable favorite. I enjoyed the Prawn Cobb salad with a generous pour of Sauvignon Blanc. We go to lunch a bit late, and always have plenty of time to talk and chat while we enjoy our food! I also need to mention how very professional the greeters and wait staff are here. We always get friendly attentive service and are smoothly seated at this busy restaurant, which serves the nearby airport. There are free parking spots in the nearby lot if you are going to the restaurant, and if those happen to be full, you can get a parking pass from the Host at the front of the restaurant.

I had the Cali Burger (Avocado, bacon and cheese. My daughter had the Spirit of San Luis Burger with caramelized onions, which were very, very smoky and a bit sweet. I think they made an excellent accent. All their burgers are a half pound of beef before cooking, quite a generous serving. This place is quite out-of-the-way and the reason one comes I believe is to be able to watch the planes take off and land, as it has a great view of the runway. The food was all good and the staff was friendly, nothing I would say exceptional and with their pricing I would say 4 1/2 stars if I could do halves.
